Help without the runaround.
Start with the common questions below. For build-specific problems, search the community first or send a private report.
Does Cutter include television channels or movies?
No. Cutter is a media player and guide. It does not sell, supply, or recommend IPTV subscriptions or copyrighted content. You must provide your own lawful source.
Which sources can I add?
The alpha is being built around the common IPTV formats supplied by a user’s provider, plus supported personal-media sources such as DLNA. Available source options can change while testing continues.
Which devices are supported?
Current development focuses on Android TV and TV boxes, tablets, and phones used in landscape orientation. Remote control is the primary interaction model on television devices; touch support is being refined in parallel.
How much storage do DVR and pause need?
The short live-TV rewind buffer is designed to use modest temporary storage. Longer pause sessions and recordings can use much more. For DVR use, an external or network storage location is recommended: 250 GB minimum and 1 TB preferred.
Why did a channel fail to play?
A channel can be offline, unavailable for the current account, or temporarily rejected by the source. Try another channel, wait briefly, and retry. A failed channel does not always mean the entire source is unavailable.
What should I include in a bug report?
Send the Cutter build number, device model, Android version, source type, and exact reproduction steps. Do not send usernames, passwords, full playlist URLs, portal addresses, or provider account information.
